the fact that they had all that buildup w alex wanting a kid and then sam shows up w a whole kid that alex becomes extremely close w to the point where she was the one who was going to take ruby in if smth had happened to sam….. the fact that they made alex and sam have such a close intimate relationship and they clearly cared abt each other so much…..the fact that they were literally the perfect dynamic of single mother who finds someone who loves their kid just as much as they do and who the kid begins to see like a second parent and they fall in love w each other and raise the kid together……..the fact that we were so close to super in love lesbian moms raising their kid together on supergirl….
